This course, Game Prototype Studio, is a course in which I and fellow classmates had to make a game prototype each week. Each game is to be made with three requirements attached to it: the game engine/tool, the main mechanic of the game, and the main theme of the game.

"Faith" is a game where the tool was GB Studio, the mechanic was interesting camera movement, and the theme was faith. I decided to make a game that was mostly focused on worldbuilding. I did this because I just wanted to let my mind wander and create different civilizations with different beliefs. I believe that this encompassed the theme of faith successfully. A skill I improved upon during this project was pixel-art! I had never given myself the time or opportunity to truly try to create my own pixel-art with previous projects I have created. So, I finally sat myself down and tried to create some of my own pixel-art. While it isn't the most complex art in the world, I think I did a good job for my first real sit-down with pixel-art!

A game made at Azusa Pacific University.
